Bill and Danielle Gottfried established The Kidney Research Institute of Texas to support investment in kidney disease prevention, kidney disease research, and technology innovation to improve the lives of kidney patients. We are committed to improving the lives of kidney patients and ending the global kidney disease pandemic; one-third of the world's population is at risk for kidney disease according to National Kidney Foundation data.
Bill and Danielle have invested over $175,000 to support The Kidney Research Institute of Texas. This Institute was established in memory of family members who suffered from, and died from, kidney disease, including Bill Gottfried's Father, Henry William Gottfried, Jr., CDR, U.S. Navy, Submarine Service.
